- CALCULUS is a WINDOWS application that visually and
- numerically shows the procedures as well as the results of
- numerical methods. CALCULUS was written especially for the
- college students who are majoring in Computer Science.

- 1. Differentiation: CALCULUS Differentiate functions with the
- rule -f'(x)=(f(x)-f(x-h))/h. Here, the users are able to define
- the h interval so that they can examine how the answer varied
- according to h.
- 2. Integration : CALCULUS has five methods of Integration.
- They are left, right, middle hand, and Trapezoid, and Simpsons'
- Methods. The users can define the method to integrate functions.
- Also, the users can define h interval.
- 3. Finding Roots : CALCULUS supports two methods that are
- Newton's and bisection methods.
- 4. Blowing up : Using mouses, the users can magnify a
- certain area in order to examine closely.
- 5. Accuracy : The users can limit the decimal digits in
- all the calculutions so that they can compare the difference that
- come from the accuracy of the real numbers.
